Joseph M. DeFranco was born in Pensacola, Florida, and is a life-long resident of Florida. Joseph attended Florida State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminology in 1991. Prior to attending Florida State University, Mr. DeFranco served as a Military Policeman in the U.S. Army. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Barry University School of Law in 2005.
Mr. DeFranco worked for over 14 years in the insurance industry as both a claims representative and as a supervisor. During that time, he earned the distinguished Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter designation, as well as the Associate in Claims designation. He is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before all Florida courts and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Joseph is an attorney in Florida who practices in multiple areas of civil litigation.
